Simplicity at its finest!

It was the morning of 7th May, when I reached my village at 4 in the morning. Although I am not a morning person, I was awake just to see the aglow sky. At first, the change was overwhelming. The quietness was eerie, and the absence of streetlights made the darkness of night a true experience. But as the days passed, I began to appreciate the simple beauty and tranquillity of rural living. Life was slower, and people seemed to have more time to stop and talk.

The first few days, I was amazed at the landscape! Rolling hills and green fields stretched as far as the eye could see, and the air was fresh and crisp. The slower pace of life allowed me to take in the beauty of the countryside, and I felt more connected to nature than I ever have before.

Life in the countryside had its challenges too. The lack of access to water, shops, and services meant that planning was crucial. I had to make sure I stocked up on supplies, as the nearest store was a few miles away. And relying on public transport was more challenging, with fewer options and longer waiting times.

Overall, my week in the countryside was an unforgettable experience. I gained a newfound appreciation for nature, community, and the beauty of a simpler way of life. The slower pace of life allowed me to connect with people and the world around me, and I left feeling reinvigorated and grateful for the experience.
