My attraction with the Karni Mata Mandir in Bikaner. I've always been drawn to rare and unusual places because I'm an inquisitive person. The Karni Mata Mandir, better known as the Temple of Rats, in Bikaner, Rajasthan, has largely attracted my interest. Over 25,000 rats are believed to live there and walk freely around the temple complex. While some may find this thought disgusting I find it fascinating and a real monument to India's diversity of religious practices and beliefs. The legend accompanying the temple is equally fascinating. Karni Mata, an honoured female sage, is claimed to have converted the souls of her deceased male children into rats. This is why rats are considered sacred by believers who believe they bring good fortune. Breaking Barriers: Thanjavur Santhanakrishna Kanaka, India's First Female Neurosurgeon. My previous blog post was about Anandi Gopal Joshi, India's first female doctor, and today I'm writing about another great woman who cracked glass ceilings in the medical sector. Meet Thanjavur Santhanakrishna Kanaka or T. S. Kanaka, India's first female neurosurgeon, whose amazing path inspires future generations of doctors. Kanaka was born in the temple town of Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, in 1932, to a family that valued education, particularly for girls. Muthulakshmi and Saraswati Sastri, her parents, were staunch proponents of women's empowerment and progress. They instilled in Kanaka a strong sense of determination and the conviction that gender should never be an impediment to attaining one's goals. Kanaka's desire to become a doctor began at a young age. She succeeded in her studies and got admitted to Chennai's prestigious Madras Medical College. Kanaka continued d...

Anandi Gopal Joshi: A Trailblazing Inspiration Anandi Gopal Joshi was a pioneer, a trailblazer, and a woman ahead of her time. She was only 17 years old when she began on a journey that would impact the path of her life and the lives of many others like her. Anandibai was inspired to become a doctor by a deeply personal tragedy. After her son died as a result of a lack of medical attention, she determined to do whatever it took to ensure that no other woman suffered the same fate. Despite several hurdles and societal restrictions, Anandibai did not give up on her aspirations. Her husband, Gopalrao Joshi, helped encourage her goals. He supported and encouraged her desire to study medicine, even though it was completely unheard of for a woman to pursue such a career in 19th-century India. His firm support helped Anandibai to take the risky step of studying medicine in the United States. Anandibai's path to becoming a doctor took her to Philadelphia's Woman's Medical College ...

Let me now explore some amazing routines and reveal the fascinating advantages that lie beneath. To begin with, wearing gold jewellery is more than just a fashion choice in Indian culture. Amazing properties in gold can help heal joint issues and increase blood circulation. Its uplifting vibrations are thought to raise our moods and promote a more cheerful view. Moreover, silver jewellery's attraction extends beyond its visual qualities. Silver has antibacterial, anti-body-temperature, and immune-boosting properties. Adopting this custom guarantees a healthier and happier life in addition to lending a touch of classic elegance. Eating with our hands is a long-standing tradition that has several advantages, although it may seem unique to others. Touching ...
