Draupadi- A role model for women. Sita and Draupadi represent earth and fire qualities respectively they say. Indians, mostly men consider Sita as a role model. They are quite comfortable with Sita because she sat in the garden waiting for her husband, Ram. She didn't declare war against Ravan. Ram asks her to sit in the fire, and she goes in; he asks her to leave the house and she obliges. Most men would love their wives to be like Sita. Without doubt, Sita was great but this is Kaliyug. Perks of maintaining a dairy I have this old-school habit of maintaining dairy/journal. I keep writing whatever I feel, or expressing my feeling! Expressing my feelings in this diary is like therapy for me. I share a bond with the diary. I see huge benefits in doing this activity like- Handwriting improvement. Creative writing skill enhancement. Improvement in memory and recall. Recap the past - Past joyful incidences rejuvenate me. And instead of going to a low while reading the not-so-happy notes, I try to have a sense of gratitude that I've come out of that down time. Stay organized- The diary is my best reference book. Reduces stress- There are some times when I go through a lot of stress, and I cannot or do not know with whom I can express those feelings. At that time, writing down in my diary helps me! Writing works as a channel to release stress. It is a good therapy. Writing my diary is nothing less than a perk!!
